Casey Stanislaw: Past President and Secretary A native of Cameron, Texas, Vice-President Casey D. Stanislaw (aka "KCD") brings extensive musical and organizational experience to the MACT board. Primarily a vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Casey spent many years singing barbershop, choir, and open mics. In the last few years he got serious about his songwriting, culminating in his 2018 EP of original material, "Twentyseventeen," under the name KCD and the Hallucinations (available on all streaming services), which he produced with his son. As a follow-on, his original Christmas single and video, "Let's Turn On Christmas" (2019), gained local notoriety and was chosen as one of the Top 12 Christmas Songs in DFW by the Dallas Observer. His new combo, The KCD Band, has been busy in the studio and is working on a new set of Casey's tunes. Casey has served in various positions with several organizations, including The Cameron Rotary Club (Past President), Cameron Chamber of Commerce, All Saints Episcopal Church, and the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation. As Vice-President of the MACT Board, Casey brings his enthusiasm, musical ability, unique set of skills, and strong commitment to the MACT mission and goals. |
